MJD Recruitment have partnered with this reputable, national law firm, seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their Melbourne office. Collaborating with award winning authors, this is a firm that truly promotes a great working culture, cooperative environment, as well as training and development, to ensure everyone is set up for success.

Supporting their Development group, the firm holds locations nationally and are seeking a driven, passionate, and detailed individual to join them on a part time basis, supporting at a 1:4 ratio.

Role:
This part time role is 3 days a week, and is a job share with another LA, supporting this established practice.

Some of the key responsibilities within the Practice Assistant position will be:

• Preparation of court documents, presentations, and correspondence
• Opening and closing of files with efficiency
• Monthly reporting for specific clients and internal stakeholders
• Management and coordination of fee earner diaries
• Client relationship building and liaising
• Organising meetings and travel
• Working in collaboration with the other support staff

Is This for You:
The role requires someone coming with a minimum of 3 years experience within a mid-tier to global firm, understanding the ins and outs operationally, as well as monthly billing.
