A large Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Test Lead to join the CIO Division (Grants Platform team). This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality digital solutions that underpin the Business Grants Hub, supporting major programs that impact thousands of Australians and businesses.

Responsibilities

Define and implement test strategies, master test plans, entry/exit gates, and defect triage.

Lead and mentor a team of testers (manual & automation) across multiple Scrum projects.

Oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.

Drive automation initiatives using EasyRepro, MSTest (C#), Azure DevOps CI/CD.

Track and report on test progress, defect metrics, and quality KPIs.

Ensure QA standards, risk assessments, and compliance requirements are met.

Champion a growth mindset, uplifting testing maturity across people, process, and tools.

Essential Skills and Experience

7+ years Dynamics 365 CRM/.NET testing (combined or individual), including 3+ years in a leadership role.

Proven ability to define and deliver test strategies aligned with project outcomes.

Experience uplifting testing capability and embedding QA best practices.

Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Skilled in Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps tools.

Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.

Ability to obtain and/or have a Baseline clearance.
