We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundsman to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an employee at Affordable Tree Specialists, you will play a vital role in supporting our tree care operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting with tree trimming, pruning, and removal, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks.

Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.

Ensure the worksite is clean and safe before, during, and after projects.

Support the lead arborist and other team members as needed.

Safely load and transport debris and equipment.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory: Valid truck driver's license (must have).

Experience: Previous experience in the tree care industry is highly desirable.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients.

Punctuality and Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
