WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive security services to clients. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a Level 2 Systems Engineer looking to take the next step into the exciting world of cybersecurity. Whether you have some security experience or are eager to grow your expertise, this role offers a pathway to a rewarding career.
Your day-to-day will include:
Security Operations
Monitoring and actioning security and application control alerts on the SOC board in line with SLAs.
Participating in a rotating after-hours availability schedule for high-priority alerts.
Maintaining and improving security monitoring processes.
Investigating and responding to security incidents.
Leveraging platforms such as Arctic Wolf, SentinelOne, Microsoft Sentinel, and ThreatLocker to deliver MDR, EDR, SIEM, and application whitelisting capabilities.
Client Management, Reporting & Auditing
Building and presenting monthly security reports to clients.
Leading client onboarding for:
Managed Detection Response (MDR) services.
Vulnerability services.
Security Awareness Training programs.
Maintaining professional client relationships and communication.
Designing and developing cybersecurity audits for prospective clients.
Documentation & Process Improvement
Updating and maintaining internal security documentation.
Identifying and implementing process improvements.
Contributing to the development of security procedures and workflows.
Documenting incident responses and resolution steps.
WHAT YOU’LL MASTER
This role is designed to set you up for success by honing skills in:
Advanced security monitoring and incident response techniques using Arctic Wolf, SentinelOne, Microsoft Sentinel, and ThreatLocker.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Conducting cybersecurity audits and presenting actionable insights.
Process improvement and workflow development in the security space.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Level 2 technical capability.
3+ years of experience in the IT space, with a strong desire to transition into cybersecurity.
Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Arctic Wolf, SentinelOne, Microsoft Sentinel, and ThreatLocker.
Understanding of Australian technology/cyber frameworks and security controls.
Excellent critical thinking skills with a focus on systems and process improvement.
