The Opportunity:

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an IT Manager. Our team provides internal IT support across various businesses, such as car dealerships, motorcycle dealerships, car rental outlets, hospitality venues and more.

Duties:

Carry out IT infrastructure planning and provide a long-term IT strategy.

Lead and mentor the IT team.

Attend IT projects with the team.

Oversee day-to-day IT operations for 500 users.

Assist with New Servers, networking equipment, volume licensing and more.

Manage CSP and MSP services.

Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimise costs and ensure quality services.

Troubleshoot complex IT issues.

Requirements:

Prior extensive experience.

Microsoft Certified Professional.

Experience with Windows-based environments and strong knowledge of MS Exchange and Azure.

Knowledge of networking and the capacity to implement networking equipment on business-critical networks safely and effectively.

Knowledge and previous experience with wired and wireless networking equipment, switch and router configurations, wireless radios, point-to-point and long-range equipment installation and configuration.

Knowledge of backup systems with multiple levels of failure and disaster redundancy.

Familiarity with installing NAS devices, knowledge of network shares and security, and AD integration.

Familiarity with Linux-based systems and the terminal is beneficial.
