Melbourne Disability Services are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our team on full-time, part-time or casual basis.

The Position

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will deliver a variety of services to participants to support them to live a fulfilling and meaningful life and to develop independent living skills in everyday life in their shared living environment.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 3 year experience as a Mental Health Support Worker

Experience in supporting participants with:

Behaviours of concern

Complex medical needs

Mental health & psychosocial disabilities

Suicidal ideation & self-harm risk

Proven ability to:

Follow risk management and safety plan effectively

Adhere to medication management protocols

Certifications and requirements:

Mealtime Management training

Mental Health First Aid with CPR certification

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Strong written and spoken English communication skills
