About the role

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Gaming/Bar Attendant to join our vibrant team at the Paringa Hotel in Renmark, SA, working approximately 35 hours per week. This casual role will see you playing a key part in providing an exceptional experience for our valued patrons. Whether you're managing the gaming floor or serving up delicious drinks at the bar, your dedication to excellent service will be essential.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and efficient service to customers in the gaming room, bar areas, motel check-in and bottle shop.

Assisting with the set-up and operation of gaming machines and equipment

Monitoring the gaming floor and bar to ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Handling cash and performing financial reconciliations

Restocking and maintaining the bar and gaming areas

Participating in team meetings and training sessions to continually improve service delivery

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar role. Gaming experience not essential, but would be considered an advantage.

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures

The flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

A current RSA certification is required. RSG is not a requirement but the applicant must be willing to obtain one.
