About the Position
Cockburn ARC is the City of Cockburn’s flagship recreation and aquatic centre, one of Perth’s premier community facilities. With 9 aquatic areas, a 6 court stadium, 3 purpose built group fitness studios including a tiered cycle studio, and a recently expanded 1,500sqm state of the art gym and group fitness studio facilities. The larger facilities provide a unique opportunity for considerable membership growth and the ability to deliver far reaching health and wellbeing benefits to the community.
This role oversees, provides direction and leads both the Health Club and Group Fitness areas providing professional knowledge and advice on current and potential new health and fitness offerings ensuring continuous growth in options for members. The role is integral to ongoing success of the operations in these areas and is responsible for ensuring consistent high quality customer service and programming for the largest customer base at the facility.
About You
We are looking for a specialist in the area of health and fitnesss - you are a proactive problem solver that takes ownership for implementing new service and product offerings and outcomes that are suited to the wider community. You will possess a tertiary qualification and have considerable experience in leading teams, and will be expected to stay ahead of health, fitness and recreational industry trends.
You will promote and model entrepreneurial and supportive management that values people and fosters teamwork, collaboration and openness to achieve community wellbeing and participation results.
Salary: $111,670 - $118,583 per annum plus super, depending on qualifications and experience
