Position Profile: Under the direction of the Regional Manager, responsible for the joint operational management of Kimberley Mental Health & Drug Service (KMHDS) programs in conjunction with relevant Coordinators, Team Leaders and the Clinical Director. Manages the financial, physical and human resources and day to day operational requirements of the Broome office. Facilitates an advanced level of community mental health and alcohol and drug services based on best practice, including providing a service which is culturally secure and considers the emotional, social and spiritual well-being of Aboriginal clients.
Area Profile: The Kimberley Mental Health and Drug Service provides specialist community mental health and alcohol and drug services to the Kimberley and acute in-patient psychiatric care for referred patients in the Kimberley region. The service aims to deliver a comprehensive range of high-quality patient/client recovery focused mental health and alcohol and drug services to both the people in the Kimberley region.
