About Us
Boundary Lane Children’s Centre (BLCC) is a community-based long day care service located in the heart of Newtown, in Sydney’s Inner West. We educate and care for up to 62 children, aged from birth to five years, Monday to Friday.

We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn and teach, and we recognise that education and storytelling have taken place on this land for thousands of years.

About the Role
We are currently seeking Certificate III Educators to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of the service. You will contribute to children’s learning and development while working collaboratively with families and colleagues. The role includes planning, programming, and maintaining a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for all children.

Key responsibilities include:

Fostering strong, trusting relationships with children.

Supporting the delivery of the BLCC Curriculum Framework.

Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes each child’s development and wellbeing.

Building and maintaining strong, respectful relationships with families to support each child’s individual learning journey.

Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies and procedures.

Maintaining open, professional communication with colleagues, families, and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).

Current Working With Children Check.

Child Protection Training (or willingness to complete before starting).

Current First Aid (HLTAID012 or equivalent, including CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis) (or willingness to complete).

Commitment to inclusive, respectful practice and to supporting children’s rights and safety.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships with children and families.

Evidence of Certificate III (completed or in progress).

Current WWCC details.
