About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Qualified Mechanic or experienced Automotive Apprentice to join the team at Ultimate Autocare Jindalee in Jindalee, QLD 4074. This full-time position will allow you to apply your expertise in automotive repairs and maintenance, contributing to the success of our family-owned workshop.

What you'll be doing

Performing a wide range of mechanical repairs and servicing on various makes and models of vehicles

Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to identify the root cause and determine the appropriate course of action

Completing scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations

Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a clean, organised work environment

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

Potentially mentoring and training apprentices, depending on your experience level

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a relevant trade, or a willingness to complete an apprenticeship program

Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and components

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality workmanship

Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and team members

A valid driver's licence and your own tools

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position
