About us

We are a child safe service with a beautiful playground and lots of creative, engaging spaces for children to explore and learn in. We care for and educate 88 children across the service each day with five age specific classrooms.

We have an exceeding rating of the National Quality Standards and are led by an experienced, engaged and involved Approve Provider and Leadership team. We employ above ratio to support a staffing team.

Qualifications & experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic, Diploma trained educator to join our team at Explore & Develop Umina. If you hold a Diploma in Children's Services and would like to work in an innovative early childhood setting that exceeds the National Quality Standards, we welcome your application.

The right candidate will be able to work within a large team. They will be committed to providing high quality education and care and be involved in upholding our Exceeding rating.

You will have;

Diploma in Children's Services.

Current Working With Children's Check

Current First Aid Certificate - HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

Current Child Protection - CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025 course code preferred

Knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
