Warehouse Labourer – Full Time Position - Alexandria Showroom

Sydney Taps is a growing Retail Bathroom store located in Alexandria. A position has become available for a Warehouse Labourer to join our team.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (no weekend work). You will be well presented, hardworking, have a good eye for detail and the ability to work unsupervised in a small team environment.

Your main duties will include:

Complete the Inbound & Outbound Inventory processes

Perform physical tasks like loading, unloading, picking, packing and stocking goods in the warehouse. (Manual handling including lifting tiles up to 25kg) (No forklift on site)

Using trolleys and pallet jacks, packing stock for deliveries e.g. packing and strapping and Quality Checking

Organizational planning in preparation for stock arrival

Multitask to ensure client satisfaction is met

Maintain clean and safe work environment inside and outside warehouse

Installation of Showroom Display, as and when required

To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

Fluency in English is essential

Demonstrate a focus on safety, customer service and continuous improvement, follow safe work practices and procedures

Possess a eye for detail and accuracy with basic numeracy competence. (this is not a RF Scanning or Forklift position).

Display strong team skills with a willingness to adapt in fast-paced environments.

Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team

Experience in Warehousing preferred

Well presented, strong, fit and energetic

Computer literacy, use and update warehouse management software

Be self-motivated, punctual and reliable with a "can do" attitude

Ability to prioritize workload

You must have full working rights to qualify for this role, not suited to persons on limited condition VISA's.
