An exceptional opportunity for a Payroll Officer has arisen to join their dynamic Finance team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities include:

Process fortnightly and monthly payroll for multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Maintain employee records including new starter setup, terminations, and ongoing changes

Calculate and process overtime, allowances, bonuses, and salary sacrifice arrangements

Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including superannuation and taxation obligations

Liaise with employees to resolve payroll queries and provide exceptional internal customer service

Ensure compliance with Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and relevant employment legislation

Assist with year-end processes including PAYG summaries, FBT reporting, and audit requirements

Support payroll system maintenance and contribute to process improvements and system upgrades

To be considered for this exceptional role, you will have at least 2-3 years in payroll operations within a high-performing organisation. Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance, proficiency in payroll systems, excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
