As our Snr Sales & Events Planner, you’ll be the creative connector who brings unforgettable events to life at one of Melbourne’s most iconic venues — all while supporting our mission to protect wildlife and the environment.
The Position
- Partner with the Sales & Marketing Manager to dream up, plan, and convert event concepts into reality.
- Conduct site inspections, follow up with clients, and create detailed event plans.
- Coordinate with our kitchen and event ops teams to ensure flawless handovers and delivery.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Grow client relationships and networks across both Melbourne and Werribee Zoos.
- Contribute to social media, website content, and digital marketing to showcase our events.
The Person
- 4–5 years’ experience in event sales, catering, hospitality, or a similar venue-based environment.
- A proven track record in selling and delivering corporate functions, large-scale events, and everything in between.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat.
- Confidence with event management software and strong IT skills.
