Diesel Mechanic – Mobile Plant & Fleet Vehicles
Location: Wakerley or site
Full-Time | Varied Role | Weekend Work Available

We’re looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team and take charge of maintaining and repairing our fleet of excavators, bobcats (skid steer loaders), trucks, and company vehicles. This is a hands-on, autonomous role where no two days are the same — one day you’ll be out on-site fixing mobile plant, the next you’ll be in the workshop (which you’ll have the freedom to make your own).

What You’ll Do:

Service, diagnose, and repair a wide range of mobile plant, trucks, and company vehicles

Carry out breakdown repairs on-site and scheduled maintenance in the workshop

Work autonomously with responsibility for keeping machines and vehicles fit for purpose

Support the team with weekend deliveries, assisting the Director and Fleet Coordinator when required

Contribute to ensuring our customers receive safe, reliable, and well-maintained equipment

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Diesel Mechanic, Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Automotive Diesel Engine Technology (essential)

Experience working on mobile plant and heavy vehicles

Ability to work independently and take ownership of the workshop and fleet care

Flexibility to assist with deliveries and general fleet tasks when needed

A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for keeping machines running at their best
