Join our team to maintain and repair our 100+ waste collection vehicles. Ensure the fleet upholds safety, reliability, and compliance standards, aligning with transport laws and company procedures. Be part of a dynamic team keeping our modern fleet running smoothly.

An Afternoon shift runs from 1.00 pm for average 8 to 10 depending on workload.

What you'll be responsible for

To service maintain and repair plant, equipment and fleet vehicles in a timely manner

Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner

Complete work orders, purchase orders and part requisitions daily and in full

Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise any discrepancies

What you'll need to be successful

Mechanical trade qualification (heavy diesel mechanic, diesel fitter, light vehicle mechanic, auto electrician)

Experience in the maintenance of a range of heavy vehicles

HR licence is a must, MC & FL Desirable

Safety focused mentality

High attention to detail

A team player with a can do attitude!

Previous waste industry experience is desirable
