The position:

We are looking for a qualified, driven & reliable Carpenter who will be responsible for the safe and cost-effective delivery of new community housing, upgrades and maintenance works. Whether you are looking for a change, or keen to join a growing organisation, we would love to hear from you!

The role:

Reporting to the Construction Manager - Ramingining or Project Manager Housing your role will include:

New community housing including civil, concreting, steel frame welding, truss installation, roofing, fencing and fit-off.

Upgrade of community housing

Housing maintenance

What We Offer:

$55.00 - $60.00 per hour (depending on skills & experience) + superannuation. Generally over 70hrs per week.

FIFO shared accommodation and meals supplied

Relocation assistance: flights and/or travel expenses which will be negotiated with successful applicant, including shipping of tools

FIFO from Darwin on a 4 weeks on 1 week off roster

Experience Required:

Carpentry trade certificate

Broad carpentry skillset

Construction Induction White Card

Current Drivers License

Working with Children’s Card

Working at heights

Positive attitude towards safety

Proficiency with job tracking software

Experience in remote community works will be an advantage

Truck license, civil experience with machinery tickets will be an advantage
