Join the dynamic team at The Benson Hotel as our Food and Beverage Supervisor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, bar and event spaces ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless guest experience. What you'll be doing

Oversee the smooth operation of the restaurant and bar, including staffing, inventory, and service standards

Provide exceptional customer service and handle any guest inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner

Lead and motivate the food and beverage team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure high performance

Assist with the development and implementation of innovative food and drink menus and promotions

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations

Contribute to the overall profitability of the food and beverage operations

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar food and beverage supervisory role, preferably within a hotel or high-end restaurant environment

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, menu planning, and cost control

Demonstrated compliance with relevant health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations

Management-level experience with liquor licensing compliance is essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems

Experience with point-of-sale systems is required

Australian work authorisation is required for this position
