About the role

MG Electrical Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified HV/LV/Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Alice Springs, NT. This full-time role will see you providing expert mechanical services for a variety of light/heavy vehicles, including diesel-powered machinery.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled and unplanned maintenance on light and heavy vehicles and machinery

Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults

Servicing and overhauling engines, transmissions, differentials and other major components

Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work completed (GearBox Software)

Providing quality workmanship and exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualifications as a Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanic (minimum LV)

Proven experience working on a variety of heavy vehicles and machinery

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Good communication and customer service skills
