We are seeking casual pharmacists to assist us with a project transcribing medications from paper charts to an electronic record for aged care facilities.

You will receive paid training on how to enter data into the electronic medical record. The training will be completed remotely.

You must be available between 10 November 2025 to 26 November 2025. This could be from 3-6 days per aged care facility. You will know the dates prior to commencing so that you can commit to those dates.

Depending on the site and location it could look like this:

Day 1 - online training (part day)

Day 2 - 30 minute remote kick off meeting. You will work closely with the Aged Care Facility Manager onsite. This meeting will include an introduction and how you will work together throughout the project and what the project will entail.

Day 3 - Data migration commences. Depending on the size of the aged care facility this could take 1 day to 4 days to complete.

Day 4 - Input any medication related changes from the date of data migration, prior to go live. Complete data migration accuracy audit. (this my be completed by a different pharmacist).

The sites are based at the following locations:

Glengowrie

Hendon

Payneham South

Goodwood

Mount Barker

Hove

Maitland

Minlaton

The project will cover all sites at the same time. Therefore we are recruiting several casual pharmacists.

If you are required to travel or stay over night, we will cover accommodation, travel and meals.

Must haves

Unconditional AHPRA registration as a pharmacist in Australia

Professional indemnity insurance policy

Australian citizen or hold permanent residency status in Australia

Appropriate police clearance

Annual flu vaccination (unless medical exemption)

COVID 19 vaccination (unless medical exemption)

Basic proficiency in appropriate computing applications

Strong organisational, planning and time management skills

Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; willing and able to communicate with aged care team members, nurses, GPs and other pharmacists.

You must be available and committed during the project period.

Ability to stay overnight if travel required
