Are you an experienced leader in civil construction, parks or maintenance works? Join Noosa Council as a Multi-Skilled Ganger and play a key role in delivering high-quality services that keep our community safe, functional and beautiful.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll coordinate and supervise a wide range of civil and parks maintenance activities, from concreting, kerb and channel, drainage and roadworks through to landscaping, playgrounds and foreshore works. You’ll lead and support a capable crew, oversee contractors, and ensure projects are delivered smoothly, safely and to a high standard. With variety every day, you’ll also assist in emergency response when required and contribute to keeping Noosa’s infrastructure at its best.

About You

You’re a practical, hands-on leader who thrives on guiding teams and projects to successful outcomes. You’ll bring:

Demonstrated experience coordinating civil, landscaping or construction activities.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, organise and train small teams.

Confidence in operating tools, plant and machinery, and interpreting plans.

Good computer skills for logging work orders, inspections and reporting.

Commitment to safety and quality, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications/licences required:

Certificate III in Civil Construction, Horticulture or equivalent experience.

Construction White Card.

Light Rigid (LR) driver’s licence.

Playground Safety Inspector (Level 3), Traffic Controller (Level 2) and AC/DC operator licences.

Additional tickets such as chainsaw or plant operation highly regarded.
