About the role
As an Aboriginal Heritage Advisor, you will provide advice on Aboriginal Heritage legislation and support the community and government to advance the recognition, management and protection of Tasmania’s unique Aboriginal cultural heritage.
Our ideal candidate has
- Practical knowledge of Tasmanian Aboriginal history, culture and cultural sites.
- Awareness of cultural heritage management practices.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to engage respectfully with people from all areas and backgrounds.
- Ability to meet the Tasmanian Government’s eligibility requirements for Aboriginal identified role.
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
