About the role

In this role, our ideal Carpenter will focus on high-quality workmanship in every project, representing DPV Construction’s commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

performing daily carpentry tasks (including demolition framing and finishing)

collaborating with other carpenters, apprentices & the site supervisor to ensure smooth project progress and timeline adherence

guiding/training our junior carpenters to develop their skills & expertise

following on-site safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all

maintaining and transporting personal carpentry tools

ensuring reliable travel to various job sites in the Eastern Suburbs.

What we're looking

Full Australian working rights or permanent residency essential

Cert II or III in Carpentry or similar + current White Card essential

Min. 3 years previous Qualified Carpenter experience essential

2 years Leading Hand Carpenter experience

Proven knowledge of building codes, construction techniques and quality standards

Ability to effectively lead & develop a team of carpenters

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients & other stakeholders.
