About the role
We are seeking a motivated Tax and Business Services Accountant with 1 to 2 years' public practice experience to join our growing team. This role will give you exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across industries and the opportunity to develop your technical skills and career progression in a collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS and FBT returns for a range of entities (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and self managed superannuation funds)

Provide tax planning and business advisory support to clients

Conducting research into tax issues and legislation to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes for clients

Build strong client relationships through clear communication and excellent service

Work closely with the Manager and Partner on complex matters and projects

What we're looking for

1 - 2 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm

Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or related field (CA/CPA underway or near completion highly regarded)

Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and compliance requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
