Parrys Merchants are a family owned food and consumable wholesaler based in Karratha. We are searching for a full time Truck Delivery Driver and Storeperson to deliver frozen, chilled and dry goods to our customers around Karratha. This job is either residential or FIFO for the right candidate.

Essential Criteria

Physically fit and can lift up to 30kg regularly

Minimum MR manual license

Forklift ticket

Trustworthy and friendly

Can work in extreme temperatures including freezers and outside heat with appropriate protection

Hard working and can follow instructions with the ability to work unsupervised

Willing to do ad hoc tasks when directed

Basic computer literacy

Desirable Criteria

Basic mechanical knowledge

Customer service experience

Safety training

Willing to upskill

Food service experience

Job Descriptions

Pick (fridge, freezer and warehouse), pack and dispatch goods accurately and in a timely manner in Karratha and surrounding suburbs

Keeping warehouse and depot clean and organised

Maintain stock control and stock counts and then report incorrect stock levels to administration

Any minor maintenance to vehicle or site

Putting away stock in designated areas and rotating stock

Communicate with the office administration throughout the day

Assist customers if everyone is unavailable

Maintain daily schedule timeframes

Roster and Remuneration- Residential

Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm.

Above award pay commensurate with licence and experience

All training provided in house

Roster and Remuneration- FIFO

12 days on 9 days off (approx. 120 hours per swing) then 19 days on 9 days off (approx. 190 hours per swing)

Above award pay commensurate with licence and experience

Daily food allowance and self catering accommodation provided

All training provided in house
