Our Client

Our customer is a food manufacturing business that, for over 30 years has specialized in, but is not limited to, producing crumbed chicken products for the local and national market. Located south of the river, they are committed to their people, their products and their customers. They are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join their team on a full-time basis.

What Your Day May Look Like

Reporting to the Storeman and/or the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, as Delivery Driver you will be responsible for the safe and effective movement of stock between internal sites on a daily basis. You will also be required to deliver stock to our customers periodically. You will have a great attitude, be physically fit and able and also assist the team/s in day-to-day tasks involved in maintaining and organizing a warehouse, whilst upholding and promoting the highest OHS&E standards at all times.

You’ll Be the Perfect Candidate If You Have:

An unrestricted HR license and clean driving record.

A good understanding of workplace OHS&E standards.

Experience in maintaining a company vehicle - conducting daily, weekly and monthly inspections of vehicle, including record keeping and compliance.

A valid forklift license.

Ability to conduct safe and effective delivery of goods, without damage or errors.

Daily stock picking, packing and loading / unloading experience.

Experience in the movement of food / temperature sensitive goods.

A great attitude and work ethic.

Physically fit and able to undertake all duties of the role.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Have great communication skills.

The ability to priorities, problem solve and multitask.

The ability to follow policies, processes and procedures.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
