About Us:

Join DCC Industry Group, a proudly Indigenous-led organisation rooted in cultural integrity, resilience, and innovation. Born from Dynamic Community Care, our growth reflects a steadfast commitment to walking alongside individuals, families, and communities with compassion and purpose. We deliver integrated, holistic support including Allied Health, Disability Services, Youth and Communities, Foster and Kinship Care and more; all guided by our core values of Respect, Justice, Equality, Humility, and Courage. Our vision is to empower individuals and communities through personalised, trauma-informed care and continuous personal growth.

About the Role:

As a Speech Therapist at DCC, you’ll play a vital role in delivering evidence-based, participant-centred therapy across a diverse and dynamic clientele. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults within clinics, schools, homes, or via telehealth, you’ll support NDIS participants and community members to unlock their communication potential.

This is more than just a job, it’s a career opportunity in an organisation that invests in your growth. You’ll receive structured supervision, ongoing mentoring, and a generous professional development budget to help you become the clinician you aspire to be.

Day-to-day will include:

Provide advanced assessment and therapy to clients with complex communication and neurological needs.

Handle diverse cases for children and adults with neurological, sensory, and physical conditions.

Conduct assessments (formal/informal), set therapy goals, and develop individualised intervention plans.

Trial and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and develop supportive resources for clients and families.

Work closely with community groups, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support client goals and service quality.

Complete clinical documentation, reports for Medicare/NDIS, and maintain patient records using Cliniko.

Contribute to team growth, provide feedback, engage in supervision, and support service improvements.

Provide training to carers, educators, and families, and participate in outreach such as workshops and educational visits.

Engage in service development, project implementation, productivity monitoring, and other delegated tasks.

You’ll thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Assistants, all driven to deliver holistic, outcomes-focused care.

What's on Offer:

A purpose-driven work environment where culture, community, and healing guide everyday practice

Professional development, supervision, mentoring, ongoing training, and peer learning opportunities within a supportive team and collaborative company culture

Flexible service delivery modes: in-clinic, in-home, community-based, and telehealth to fit varied client needs
