Family Violence Housing Pathways Case Manager

wayss is seeking a dedicated Housing Pathways Case Manager to join our Family Violence Recovery team on a contract basis through to February 2026.
This vital role focuses on helping clients transition to safe, affordable, and sustainable housing as they move beyond crisis support. You’ll be the housing expert within our Family Violence services, providing tailored case management and secondary consultation to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housing-focused case plans
- Conduct risk and safety assessments using the MARAM framework
- Facilitate referrals and service connections
- Support clients with public housing applications and private rental access
- Coordinate tailored support packages including subsidies, security measures, and brokerage
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure holistic support
- Maintain accurate case notes and participate in supervision and training
About You:
You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services or a related field (Diploma level or above)
- Experience in case management, housing advocacy, and working within the family violence sector
- Strong knowledge of housing systems and the MARAM framework
- Resilience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to best practice
Requirements:
✔ Current Driver’s Licence
✔ Valid Working with Children Check (Employment category)
✔ Successful completion of wayss pre-employment screening (including police check)
