Position Overview: We are seeking a versatile Audio Visual Technician with expertise in audiovisual installations, live events, and security projects to join our team in Echuca. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in AV equipment setup and programming, live event setup and operations, along with security system installations.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers and clients to plan and execute audiovisual installations, live events, and security projects according to specifications and timelines.

Install, configure, and calibrate audiovisual equipment, including sound systems, video displays, lighting fixtures, and control systems, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Provide onsite support during live events, including setup, operation, troubleshooting, and dismantling of AV equipment to deliver seamless and successful events.

Install and integrate security systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms, following industry standards and regulations.

Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks on installed AV and security systems to verify functionality and reliability.

Collaborate with clients to provide training and technical support on the operation and maintenance of AV and security equipment.

Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service records for reference and future maintenance.

Requirements:

Victorian & NSW Security License (or willing to obtain) and valid driver's license (manual) is mandatory.

Proven experience in audiovisual installations, live event support, and security system installations.

In-depth knowledge of audiovisual equipment, including audio systems, video displays, lighting fixtures, and control systems.

Familiarity with security systems technology, including CCTV cameras, access control, and intrusion detection systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently during live events and installations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules and project deadlines.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments with attention to detail and accuracy.
