East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing the five communities of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof, in North Western Victoria.

East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team and assist the Director of Clinical Services to oversee the delivery of quality clinical and other care requirements from the Health Service and provide clear communication and mentorship to the EWHS clinical team

This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality services to the community by building strong, skilled, and engaged teams that are committed to excellence in care.

The Deputy Director of Clinical Services will collaborate with the Quality and Risk team, Education team and Infection Control programs, and work closely with clinical teams to ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. A strong emphasis is placed on continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration to deliver safe, high quality consumer care outcomes.

The successful candidate will have key clinical leadership experience and show demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with empathy, professionalism, and accountability.
