Your new role
As the APS6 Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with senior leaders to deliver high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. You'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that links financial outcomes to strategic direction and operational delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading month-end processes including accruals, forecasting, and management reporting
  
• Supporting internal budget development and revisions
  
• Building and refining financial models and reporting tools
  
• Providing strategic financial advice to senior executives and contributing to decision-making
  
• Partnering with business areas to drive performance and support program delivery
  
• This Canberra-based role offers the opportunity to influence financial strategy and contribute to nationally important initiatives.
  

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• Strong experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
  
• Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and influence outcomes
  
• High-level analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  
• Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain a baseline security clearance
