Our Centre

Pippies Early Childhood Centre is a 39 place, community based centre, caring for children on the Tweed Coast of NSW for 30 years. The service offers high quality long day care services catering for children 6 weeks – 6 years. We are managed by an experienced volunteer parent management committee.

The Centre follows the National Principles of Child Safe Organisations in its recruitment process.

Pippies is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person with a passion for early childhood education to work in our Pre School Room. The position is currently being offered as a temporary part time position (3 days per week) with a start date from November 2025.

Essential Criteria

Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Previous experience working with children in an early childhood educational setting

Possess: First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, current working with children check

Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework

Work well as a team

Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication
