About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Waitstaff (all rounder) to join our team at Basilico Pizzeria in Midland, WA. This is a casual or part-time role, working Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm to 9pm. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating customers in a warm and welcoming manner

Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

You must obtain your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate within 30 days of starting

Delivering meals and drinks to customers in a timely fashion

Ensuring tables are cleared, reset and maintained to a high standard

Assisting with general kitchen and restaurant duties as required

Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer queries or concerns

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar waiting or hospitality role, preferably in a fast-paced environment

Minimum 6-12 months of waitstaff or hospitality experience is required

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly and attentive service

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work culture

A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service

Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position
