Your leadership could bring about significant change and growth.

About the Role:

Your experience working in regional areas and your vision for regional impact are especially welcomed and appreciated.

Key duties include:

Analysing environmental performance data and providing recommendations on best environmental and sustainability practices

Auditing, analysing, and reporting environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.

Planning budgets, timelines, and resources required to improve the sustainability and environmental performance of ICARE Youth and Community Services

About the Candidate:

AQF Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field

At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role within the Environmental Management space

Demonstrated mastery of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems), with proven experience in auditing, implementing environmental strategies, policies, and practices, and driving continuous improvement to global benchmarks

Track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering community engagement, including experience working with Aboriginal and culturally diverse groups in remote and marginalised settings. Applicants with lived experience in intercultural understanding and community capacity building will be highly regarded.

Your willingness and motivation to embed in the Tennant Creek region for the long term is not just a requirement but a testament to your commitment. This commitment offers deep knowledge of Northern Territory-specific needs, sustained organisational growth, and enduring community partnership.
