The company is currently seeking a highly driven, enthusiastic and experienced Yard Supervisor to join our growing team working with our fencing operations in Prestons.

This will be a 9am - 5pm shift

The Role:

Working closely with the AM Yard Supervisor, your role will be assisting with all aspects of the afternoon operations of our busy temporary fencing yard. This position will include but not limited to:

Supervision of the loading and unloading process of our fleet of vehicles

Maintaining the yard in an orderly manner, providing clear and well planned storage of stock and equipment

Promoting, and encouraging a safe workplace in line with company policy and legislative requirements

Constant supervision of staff at all times ensuring Workplace Health and Safety requirements and Company Policies are adhered to

Other tasks as may be required for the operational requirements of the Company including installation of temporary fencing

Ensuring afternoon operations are completed and anything unusual or needed for the next day is reported to the Yard Supervisor before leaving

Requirements:

Current Forklift Licence with relevant experience

An unrestricted MR truck licence or higher would be an advantage but not essential

White Card (can be obtained at a later date)

Leadership experience

Work well under pressure

Excellent time management and organization skills

Commitment to OHS in an operations environment
