GB Industries is a leading electrical contracting company to Mackay Ports, Sugar Mills and Mines in the Bowen Basin. Due to our continued success, we are seeking an exceptional Electrical Project Manager to join our team.

The Role:

Develop and maintain excellent relationships with current and new Clients

Planning, tendering and executing of projects and site works.

Manage a budget for project work through monitoring cost allocation and expenditure.

Report on project status.

Manage project scope, time, cost, quality, risk and procurement in order to achieve project objectives

Provide leadership in work winning activities by managing tender/proposal preparation and submission as well as arranging and attending Client meetings

Schedule and plan outages for project work, in consultation with key stakeholders.

Key requirements:

Tertiary Qualifications in an electrical related field

Experience managing projects as contactor and/or client

Strong technical skills and experience in contract documentation/administration, stakeholder management, reporting on costs and programmes

Successful track record in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships

Demonstrated project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team

Knowledge of modern maintenance methods and experience in their application to various infrastructure

Proven contractor management capabilities

Exceptional organisational and time management abilities

Negotiation skills.

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Project.
