Locum Pharmacy Services Manager – Katherine Hospital (NT)

Take your pharmacy career on an adventure in the Northern Territory! Katherine Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Services Manager for a 6–8 week locum contract starting 15 September 2025, with the potential to extend.

The role
You’ll lead a small, dedicated team (1 clinical pharmacist + 2 assistants) and oversee dispensary operations while delivering clinical pharmacy services across pediatrics, oncology, medical and emergency departments. Using Merlin Dispensing Software and MOSAIQ, you’ll balance leadership, clinical care, and service improvement.

Key duties

Manage dispensary operations, PBS compliance & system processes

Provide medication reviews and advice across multiple wards

Mentor and supervise staff daily

Deliver education to pharmacy, nursing & medical teams

Drive quality, safety and service improvements

What we’re looking for

AHPRA registered Pharmacist with hospital experience

Skilled in oncology, pediatrics, renal, hematology & vaccines

Strong leadership and mentoring ability

Able to collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams

Current NT immunisation, Working with Children Check & SAFE NT Police Check
