The Position.

This is a demanding role which involves varied hours and extensive travel, but is rewarded by capacity to make decisions that solve customers problems, and working autonomously while still being part of a small but highly motivated & winning team.

We’re looking for a hands-on Service & Install Engineer to join our team in Moss Vale. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys travel, and is comfortable with irregular work patterns. You’ll be based out of our Moss Vale site, loading up the van and heading wherever the next job takes you — sometimes locally, often interstate.

Our customers are right across the eastern seaboard of Australia so an ability to travel and drive is crucial to the role as we are a highly mobile company.

Who this role is for:

This role would suit someone who enjoys change, loves unexpected travel, and random working hours (including after hours call-outs).

A requirement is that you have in depth practical experience with lab water systems, or similar industries like HVAC etc. which combine electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.

This person enjoys working frequent long days broken up by rest days when no jobs are scheduled.

Who this role is not for:

Someone who wants consistent 9-5 hours, can't think on their feet, doesn't enjoy travel to random locations, and lacks practical experience.

What an average 2 weeks could look like:

Think fixing a leak in Newcastle one day, replacing a worn out motor in Griffith later in the week, helping with an install in Melbourne a week later, then a few days working in and around Sydney doing other small repairs upgrades.

You have excellent communication skills. Also required is an ability to work independently or as part of a team, and exceptional planning and organizational skills.

A valid driver’s license is essential.
