Senior Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner

Complex Care is a Brisbane based practice that provides therapy and consultancy services specifically tailored to children and adult participants who have experienced trauma and the carers/professionals who support them.

Complex Care is currently looking to employ an experienced Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to support our existing team of practitioners. This role would involve taking a practice lead position supporting Complex Care's clinical Director with facilitating individual and group supervision, reviewing PBSPs, enhancing practice tools and processes, while also maintaining a reduced (half) case-load of their own behaviour support clients.

Requirements for this position Include:

Registration at a minimum proficient practitioner level.

Be confident providing direction around the use of restrictive practices and understanding the Commissions expectations.

4 years' experience providing trauma informed support to clients with complex and high-risk presentations.

2 years minimum experience supporting other practitioners with the development of positive behaviour support plans.

Working with Children's Check and Yellow Card

Experience/Interest in working with complex and at times high risk participants
