Nqpetro is a major installation, maintenance and service provider to retail/commercial/industrial/mining petroleum customers and associated industries.

We are seeking a Stores/Warehouse Person to come in on a full-time basis and join our Cairns team.

This role needs someone who can jump right in and make a difference from the start, so prior experience as a Stores Person is essential

As a Stores Person you will:

Pick, pack, store, deliver and dispatch materials within the Warehouse ensuring system inventory accuracy.

Participate in warehouse activities including stock takes, improvements, administration, ordering of parts.

General warehouse and housekeeping duties.

Maintain safety equipment calibration schedules and registers (gas detectors, rescue equipment, measures, and tooling, testing, and tagging of electrical equipment)

Manage vehicle servicing schedules and booking servicing and repairs of company vehicles and all equipment (trailers, compressors, pumps, specialized tooling)

Contribute to the provision of a safe working environment by adhering to the Company's occupational health, safety and environmental culture, policies, and procedures.

About you:

Warehouse experience (at least 2 years)

Ability to multi-task and prioritise

Proven customer service focus

Current drivers licence

Forklift licence

Friendly personality and able to work with others.
