Australian Plastic Profiles (Aussie Duct) / Pipe King P/L is a leading manufacturer of PVC Extrusions and Fittings for the Electrical, Plumbing and Building industries. The company has a national presence with operations in all mainland states and has experienced impressive growth over a sustained period.

A role currently exists for an afternoon shift Warehouse Storeperson at our Carole Park, QLD branch.

Duties of this role include; but are not limited to: -

Loading and unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods in/out of the warehouse

Picking and packing daily orders

Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance for all aspects of goods travelling to various sites in local, regional Queensland and interstate areas.

Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching.

Display leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviour.

Regular cyclical stock takes.

Working with stores team to achieve daily branch requirements

Some heavy lifting involved

To be successful for the role you must have:

Excellent work ethic.

Previous experience in a warehousing role.

Knowledge of the practical management of Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S).

A current valid driver's license and forklift license.

12 months minimum forklift experience

Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

High attention to detail.

Strong communication skills

Applicants must be punctual, reliable, self-motivated, well organised and able to work unsupervised.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes drug and alcohol testing.

Shifts are currently available for:

Monday to Friday - 12:PM to 8.00pm (afternoon shift loading applicable)
