About the role

Tok Tok Therapies is seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team in Gold Coast, Queensland. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to a paediatric population. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, helping individuals to improve their communication and independence.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address speech, language, functional communication, social skills, feeding and play skills

Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions both in clinic and mobile

Educating clients, families, and caregivers on how to optimise their child's development

Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the overall clinical documentation

Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices

What we're looking for

A degree in Speech Pathology

Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia

Enthusiasm for learning and an open mind

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families

Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in administering a range of speech and language assessments

Familiarity with evidence-based therapy approaches and techniques

Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
