About the Role
Join the esteemed CALHN Haematology Training Programme as a Haematology Clinical Fellow and elevate your career in haematology. This unique opportunity allows you to gain advanced clinical expertise in your chosen subspecialty, whether it be AML/MDS, multiple myeloma, thrombosis and haemostasis, lymphoma, or CML/MPN. You’ll engage in hands-on clinical practice, providing outpatient and inpatient services while receiving expert supervision. Your experience will be further enriched by the chance to initiate and oversee original research initiatives and actively participate in ongoing clinical trial programmes.
As a fellow, you’ll work closely with leading experts and access an extensive clinical database that supports meaningful publications and research projects. Collaborate with renowned researchers at SAHMRI and the universities in world leading areas of AML/MDS, CML, ALL and Myeloma. This fellowship not only offers a pathway to clinical excellence but also opens doors for significant contributions to haematology research and potential PhD opportunities. About You
- Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent, with General Registration as a Medical Practitioner; awards of FRACP/FRCPA (joint haematology trainees) or FRACP (clinical haematology trainees). Candidates without a fellowship, but in their final years of training, may be considered for the post.
- Experience: Proven experience in clinical haematology, demonstrating your capability in the field as a senior registrar, ready to be a junior consultant.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and a reliable approach to patient care and teamwork.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of laboratory and clinical haematology to support patient assessment and management.
