This is a fantastic, fully remote opportunity for a leading client in the financial technology space who is looking for a very highly skilled JavaScript Angular Engineer to join their team, contributing to the development of a high-performance, HTML5-based user interface for a global trading platform. This role requires strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and modern JavaScript, with a focus on building responsive and scalable frontends that can handle real-time data and complex interactions.

The successful candidate will work within a large monorepo environment that integrates both application and shared library code. Code quality, modularity, and performance are critical, and the engineering team places a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, test automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of a complex trading UI

Deliver high-quality frontend code in collaboration with product managers, designers, and global engineering teams

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments with a focus on performance and reliability

Participate in technical reviews and contribute to ongoing enhancements in tooling and workflow

Work closely with backend engineers to integrate real-time services and APIs

Apply best practices in automated testing, including unit testing and test-driven development

Required Skills & Experience

Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

Strong proficiency with Angular (preferably version 16 or later) and RxJS

Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS

Experience in performance optimization of complex web applications

Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling and ECMAScript features

Background in frontend testing frameworks and TDD practices

Exposure to monorepo environments and large-scale frontend architecture

Solid understanding of design patterns and scalable UI development

Additional Technical Exposure (Desirable)

Experience with Node.js microservices using Nest.js

Familiarity with backend integrations involving MongoDB, Redis, and containerized infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes)

Interest or background in financial platforms or real-time trading systems

Awareness of browser engines (such as V8) and low-level rendering performance

Candidate Profile

Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve complex engineering problems

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across international teams

A passion for clean code, quality engineering practices, and staying current with JavaScript ecosystem trends

Ability to work well under pressure in a time-sensitive, high-stakes environment
