About the role

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join the team at The Gap Day & Night Pharmacy in The Gap, QLD. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the Pharmacy's operations and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly, knowledgeable and high quality customer service to patients

Assisting the Retail Manager in inventory control, merchandising and point of sale data input.

Assisting in ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean, organised and compliant with regulations

Assisting the Retail Manager to participate in and encourage all staff to undergo training to enhance professional development

Assisting in running social media posts for the pharmacy

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent role

Posses S2/S3 Certificate in Community Pharmacy

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, regulations and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff

Proven ability to work effectively both in a team and independently

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Computer skills including operating POS systems

The Gap Day & Night Pharmacy is an owner-operated Independent Community Pharmacy that has been serving the residents of The Gap for over 30 years. We have a dedicated and friendly team and pride ourselves on providing personalised, high-quality healthcare services to our patients. We are open 7 days a week from 8.30am to 8.00pm.
