Based in Canberra, you’ll join a hands-on and supportive operations team committed to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Collaboration is at the heart of how they work, with strong connections across production, R&D, and supply chain to ensure high-quality outcomes for customers worldwide.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about leading people and driving results. You’ll oversee daily operations at the Canberra production site, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to compliance, and the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a production team to achieve KPIs and deliver operational excellence
• Oversee daily production schedules and workflow, ensuring targets are met
• Drive a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all WHS and environmental requirements
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless production and continuous improvement
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimisation
• Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance, and manage downtime effectively
• Prepare and present regular production reports and updates to senior management

Your Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within manufacturing
• Background in adhesives, chemicals, or FMCG production is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of WHS standards, quality systems, and compliance frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build capability, and drive a positive workplace culture
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
