We are seeking a motivated Fire Services Draftsperson to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their drafting skills within the fire protection industry, working on a wide range of exciting and challenging projects. As a Draftsperson, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality drawings and documentation to support our fire services projects. You’ll be working closely with our project managers and designers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

Essential Requirements:

Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD essential, Revit preferred but not required).

Previous drafting experience within fire services, building services, or a related industry.

Ability to interpret design briefs and technical drawings.

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of shop drawings for fire protection projects (sprinkler, hydrant, and fire detection/alarm systems).

Development of block plans, tactical fire plans, and evacuation diagrams.

Preparation of as-built drawings.

Collaborating with the project team to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Highly Regarded:

Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards for fire systems.

Previous experience in the fire protection industry.
