About the role

We're looking for an experienced Orthotic Technician or skilled craftsperson to join our growing team at Geelong Orthotics. This part-time role, based in our Geelong, Victoria clinic, involves manufacturing and repairing custom orthotic devices that help improve the mobility and comfort of our patients. We're interested in candidates with a strong trades background who are eager to apply their skills in a new field.

What you'll be doing

Fabricating and modifying orthotic devices and footwear to precise specifications

Selecting and preparing a variety of materials for device construction

Repairing, adjusting, and troubleshooting orthotics as needed

Collaborating with Orthotists to ensure optimal device fit and function

Managing inventory and ordering supplies

Adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

Trades background is highly valued, such as experience in a related technical, manufacturing, sewing and/or fabrication field.

Formal training and certification as an Orthotic Technician is a bonus.

Proven ability to work with your hands and a strong commitment to manual dexterity.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
