About the role:

Clarity Partners is partnering with a leading Australian mining and resources business with a global presence that is recognised as one of the Top 10 producers worldwide in its field, with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and innovation, playing a vital role in supporting the resources sector.

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to manage high-volume processing and support the finance function. This role offers flexibility, exposure to a well-regarded mining organisation, and a genuine temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice batching, coding, approvals, and payment runs
• Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and operations to resolve invoice queries
• Support month-end closing activities and AP-related reporting
• Contribute to system/process improvements and best practice initiatives

About You

• Proven experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable, preferably in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
• Strong proficiency with major ERP systems—Pronto, SAP, Oracle, D365, highly regarded
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, with strong data entry and Excel skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder liaison abilities
• Mining or resources industry experience is a definite advantage
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
• Candidates available on short/no notice are strongly preferred, though those with a standard 4-week notice will also be considered
